Stand Pipe Systems

Stand Pipe Systems are installed in the building or structure with hose connections located in such a manner that water can be discharged through the attached hoses and nozzles. These hose connections are fed by a supply pipe or risers and are located throughout the facility, usually on each floor.

Wet Stand Pipe System has water supplier from the main valve or fire pump, which is always open and is always under pressure.

Dry Stand Pipe System has connection to water main by an automatic or manual control valve and can also be supplied by the fire department.
